Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT), is a highly powerful and effective method for uncovering the root cause of your unresolved issues.

Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) is the Marisa Peer method of hypnotherapy, a solution-based treatment offering fast, effective and long lasting change. 

Integrating the most beneficial aspects of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). Unlike these treatments RTT delves into the subconscious mind to identify the limiting beliefs that have been holding you back. These beliefs, often formed long ago, continue to influence your behaviours in ways that no longer serve you. Once we identify these beliefs, we work on releasing them and replacing them with empowering thoughts, images, and beliefs that align with your goals.

My Purpose

As a therapist, my purpose is deeply rooted in the belief that every individual has the innate ability to overcome obstacles and live a fulfilling life. I am driven by a genuine desire to empower others to unlock their full potential and embrace positive change with courage and confidence.

In my practice, I employ a holistic approach to Rapid Transformational Therapy, integrating elements of psychology, neuroscience, and mindfulness. By addressing the root causes of emotional and behavioural patterns, I facilitate lasting change from within. Through tailored techniques and compassionate guidance, I help my clients rewrite their stories and embrace a brighter future.

My curiosity

From a young age, I’ve always found myself in a caregiver role. Whether it was taking care of animals, friends, or my younger brother with a significant age gap, I’ve always been drawn to helping others. I vividly remember being a teenager, watching my baby brother learn to crawl, stand, and feed himself, he was full of self-belief. It amazed me how we, as humans, master complex skills with confidence at such a young age. Yet, by the time we reach our twenties, many of us are burdened with self-doubt and limiting beliefs. This fascination with the human mind led me to pursue a degree in psychology.

My Journey

Becoming a Rapid Transformational Practitioner was far from a straightforward path. Like many, I faced numerous challenges and experiences that shaped my understanding of human behaviour and the way the mind works. RTT came into my life in the perfect time. During a difficult period struggling with fertility, I turned to self-hypnosis and visualization. Despite undergoing treatments and surgeries, it was through these techniques that I naturally and easily became pregnant. This reaffirmed for me the immense power of the mind.

 

What to expect from an RTT® session?

Chances are, you’ve not encountered RTT before, otherwise, I doubt you’d be here. Below is a step by step guide to how I approach the sessions with you to empower transformation and inspire change.

Initial Consultation

During our initial meeting, we will thoroughly discuss the issue you wish to address.

– Understanding Your Situation: We will explore your current life circumstances and mindset to understand what is contributing to your issue. This helps in identifying the surface-level factors and how they might connect to deeper underlying problems.

– Setting Goals: We will clearly define the outcomes you desire from the RTT® session and outline the steps necessary to achieve these goals.

Hypnosis

Following our initial consultation, we’ll arrange for our first RTT session. In this stage, you will be gently guided into a state of light hypnosis, a deeply relaxing and empowering experience.

– Entering Hypnosis: Under light hypnosis, your subconscious mind becomes accessible, allowing us to work with the parts of your mind where deep-rooted issues reside.

– Exploring the Subconscious: Using regression techniques, we will revisit past experiences and moments in your life that have contributed to the current issue. This helps us pinpoint the root cause of your problem and understand why it persists.

Rewiring

With the root cause identified, we will begin the process of reshaping your mind’s response to these old memories and beliefs.

– Customised Tools: I will use specific therapeutic tools tailored to your needs to help reframe the negative memories and outdated beliefs that are holding you back.

– Creating Positive Patterns: This process allows us to replace old, negative thought patterns with new, positive ones. We will foster an environment in your mind where empowering beliefs can take root and flourish, enabling you to overcome the issue permanently.

Achieving Lasting Change

To ensure the changes from your session are sustained, you will receive a personalised recording to reinforce your new mindset.

– Personalised Transformation Recording: After the session, I will provide you with a custom-made recording designed to reinforce the positive changes we have made during the therapy.

– Ongoing Support: You will be asked to listen to this recording daily for 21 days. Throughout this period, we will stay in touch to monitor your progress and provide any additional support you may need.

This structured approach ensures a comprehensive and transformative experience through RTT®, guiding you from identifying and understanding the problem to embedding lasting positive changes.

Unlike many hypnotherapy treatments, RTT® does not rely solely on positive reinforcement. It gets to the root cause of an issue, giving clients the most liberating understanding and transformative power to achieve dramatic, long-lasting results.

RTT® embraces many of the positive aspects of hypnosis and hypnotherapy that are known to produce a transformative effect on clients. However, the RTT® method goes beyond traditional hypnotherapy by diagnosing what works best with clients to build a new, highly effective therapeutic approach.

Hypnosis is a very relaxed and comfortable state. It is a natural state of mind that we go in and out of many times every day. Think of a time when you were in a meeting and found yourself coming “back into the room” realising that your mind had drifted to thinking about something you needed to get done that day or what you were planning to do that evening. You were in a trance state. Clients are often surprised that they are not asleep, that they can hear what I’m saying and that they’re aware of everything going on around them.

It works by creating a burst of brain waves that are the same as when you’re in REM (Rapid Eye Movement). That’s what allows you to access the subconscious mind. It’s very easy and anyone can do it, you’ll see for yourself when you do it too!

Hypnosis is not putting you to sleep; it’s putting your nervous system in a relaxed state. This means that even though you remain fully aware of everything going on around you, you are not bothered by them. As a result, you can turn your attention inward. I cannot get you to do anything during hypnosis that you would not do otherwise.

Hypnosis is a natural state that we go into throughout the day, so you have already experienced this, probably without realising it. Everyone is different, so some people will go into trance more easily and deeper than others. How quickly or deeply you go into trance has no bearing on the success of the treatment.

No! That’s an old wives’ tale. You have complete control the whole time.

You can talk, move your body, get a tissue, even get up and leave (I’ve had clients who had to stop to pee before!).

If you go back to scenes from your life that are related to things like sexual or physical abuse, or other trauma, it’s important to remember that you are not reliving that scene, you are simply reviewing it and that you are safe. I will support you and create a safe space for you to express your emotions and heal.

It is normal to come out of hypnosis feeling relaxed and perhaps slightly drowsy for the first few minutes. Many clients come out of trance with big smiles on their faces and feelings of excitement or empowerment, because they realise that something significant has happened. You may feel a tingling in the back of your head, a sense of reflectiveness or an incredible surge of energy. Everyone is different. Clients often tell me they experience additional insights and revelations in the days and weeks following their RTT session.

The mind learns through repetition. Think of sports professionals training for a competition. They don’t stop practising when they know they can hit several aces in a row, or have a serve that reaches 160 miles per hour. Professional golfers don’t quit training because they can drive the ball hundreds of yards, or hit consistently good putts. They train and train and train some more because they know the more they train, the more their muscle and eye/hand coordination becomes embedded and wired in their mind. This is no different to you working on changing your behaviour.

The science behind this is that neurons that fire together, wire together. Neurons associated with a certain activity form neural pathways that become stronger the more that activity is engaged in. By listening to the audio you are making sure the new neural pathways created during the hypnotherapy session are growing in strength. Think about how difficult it is to learn a new habit. You are shown a better way to hold your tennis racket, for example. It feels awkward and unfamiliar, but only in the beginning. The more you practise, the more comfortable it feels until you reach the point where trying the old way feels awkward.

On the other hand, nerves that fire apart, wire apart. The less an old activity is practised, the weaker the neural pathways become.

There are different theories as to how long it takes for the brain to rewire. I suggest to clients that they continue listening to the audio past the initial 21-day period to continue strengthening that new neural pathway.

Each Rapid Transformational Therapy session lasts between 90 minutes to maximum 2.5 hours. For that reason, I ask you block of a full 2.5 hours in your calendar to make sure you’re not rushed.

Most times, one session is all that is needed, but it can take several sessions to overcome deeply ingrained habits or beliefs. Freeing yourself from behavioural problems is sometimes like peeling the skin away on an onion, and removing a layer may reveal something else that needs to be dealt with. The answer to this question depends very much on each individual case. I can advise better on how many sessions you might need during our initial consultation.

There are 3 types of change from Rapid Transformational Therapy - every person is different:

  • Immediate: You feel a massive shift right away – immediate changes in your physiology, thoughts and behaviours right in the session.
  • Incremental: You see consistent shifts every day, or over time.
  • Retroactive: You don’t see the shifts right away and then one day you suddenly look back and see all of the things that are different in your life from that how it used to be.

No professional will guarantee results. However, the fact that most of my clients come to me via referrals is the best indication I can give of how effective hypnosis is in helping people become free of their problems. Visit my testimonial page to see what previous clients have to say.

I offer face to face sessions in Bristol, Bath, Keynsham, Saltford and surrounding areas. However, I also work with clients all over the world, hypnosis works just as well using Skype, Facetime, WhatsApp or Zoom as it does in person. All you need is a reliable internet connection.
